MCI Biweekly Update
From Jan 14, 2008 to Jan 25, 2008 the MCI index declined from 7899.0 to 7821.7, a drop of 77.4 points. The not-too-sharp decline indicates a relatively stable demand in January, due to China’s Lunar New Year holidays and US SuperBowl event in February. Thus, for the time being, the index is expected to continue hovering near the 7500~7800 level. However, beginning from February, the panel demand is expected to fall more notably when the inventory pull in for the two events comes to a close.
