Many Taiwan LCD component makers planning to list in 2008

Taiwan LCD component makers such as Wellypower Optronics, Daxon Technology, Cando, Sintronic Technology and Gio Optoelectronics are actively applying for listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE), the over the counter (OTC) or the Taiwan's Emerging Stock Board (ESB), according to industry sources. November WitsView's Street Price Survey: Rising LCD TV prices for below 46" segment; excluding 17" and 19w, prices drop for all Monitor sizes

According to WitsView's November worldwide average street price survey, prices rose for the 20" and 32~46" segment. This is the second consecutive month for the 32" and 42" to experience a price increase. Meanwhile, prices declined for the 47" and below segment. In the PDP group, varying price changes were seen for the different TV sizes. The 42" PDP TV continued its decline, which began in June, while the 50", 55" and 60" trended upwards.
